    Mother's Day 2024 falls on Sunday, May 12th! This article will guide you on picking a theme and decor and give you menu/recipe ideas for making a homemade Mother's Day brunch spread that is Indian inspired!

    One thing that can make a Mother's Day brunch stand out is a theme! Here are some themes along with decor ideas for them.

    • Throw a Mother's Day High Tea. I have a whole article on how to throw an Indian Afternoon Tea Party, which would be so fun to do on Mother's Day. The menu includes various chais, finger sandwiches, and desserts. Also check out the cute tea cup and tea stand recommendations.
    • Throw a Mother's Day Chaat Party. Everyone loves chaat, so why not create a homemade brunch centered around this lip-smacking street food! I have an ultimate guide on throwing a chaat party that comes with instructions for setting up a chaat-cuterie board.
    • Breakfast in Bed. Treat mom to some rest in the morning by bringing her breakfast in bed. Another riff on this classic as adults is to all dress up in your pajamas and have a breakfast spread of your mom's dreams!
    • Floral decor. Moms love flowers. Make the decor the center of the theme. Incorporate flower arrangements at the table using her favorite flowers. The flowers can double as a gift for her to take home!
