Spicy Green Pani (Water) for Pani Puri

This spicy green pani (water) is made with cilantro-mint chutney to create a spicy and vibrant water with which to fill your pani puri.

  1. In a pitcher or large bowl, mix together ¼ cup store-bought or homemade cilantro-mint chutney, ½ teaspoon chaat masala, 1 teaspoon black salt, and 2 cups cold water.
  2. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the pani (water) into a large serving bowl. The water will stay fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days.
