When I plan my Indian meals, I always make it a priority to include plenty of vegetable side dishes. Not only do they add color, texture, and nutrients, but they also create balance - ensuring that my meals are not just flavorful but also filling and satisfying. While Indian cuisine is naturally rich in vegetables, I find that being intentional about incorporating them into my meals helps me feel fuller, nourished, and energized.

Here are a list of my favorite Indian vegetables that add volume to my meals so I feel full. They pair perfectly with some of my high protein Indian recipes. Put them together with dal, paneer, or chicken tikka dishes to make a full, complete, and healthy meal.
