Curries
Curries have long been a generic umbrella term to describe Asian dishes. In fact, most Indian "curries" are not even called curries. There are soupy and lentil based dishes like sambar and rasam. There are kolumbus and kormas which are more stewy and thick. I am using the term "curries" here to categorize all of these saucy, glossy, soupy, and delicious dishes that you can pour onto your rice or scoop up with your dosas.
